If you choose to self-identify as belonging to a marginalized group &#8211; especially Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities &#8211; and you\u2019d like to ask a question, you can include an asterisk (*) at the start of your question. Our moderators are compiling questions, and they will prioritize those with an asterisk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Did You Peer Review Your Question?&#8221;<\/strong><br>Aligning with the framework put forward by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tuckeve\/status\/1141501426822254592\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eve Tuck<\/a>, participants are encouraged to reflect on the following before submitting questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Is this really a question?<\/li><li>Are you implying you should have given the talk&nbsp;instead?<\/li><li>Does the question need to be asked and answered in front of everyone?<\/li><li>Is the question asking the speaker to do a lot of work (after they have already done a lot of work), that the question-asker should be doing themselves?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Acknowledgements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These statements are adapted from the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/acrl\/conferences\/atw#president\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACRL President&#8217;s Program 2020<\/a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/clps.arizona.edu\/code-conduct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Critical Librarianship &amp; Pedagogy Symposium Code of Conduct<\/a>.
