I found out today that David interpreted for the lt. governor, and Xin Liu, who got her PhD at Mānoa in , interpreted for the governor at the luncheon.

The gathered about 10 Chinese speaking students and teachers to help out with language issues for the 200 Chinese in attendance at the luncheon.

David and Xin did the simultaneous interpreting at the Clean Energy Forum following the luncheon.
