The presents the third annual Angel Tree event at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The donation table is located in Campus Center in front of the AS东精影业 Bulletin Board across from Starbucks. The table is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Wednesday, December 5.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program gives the community an opportunity to buy a Christmas gift for someone less fortunate this holiday season. The “angels” range from children to teens to senior citizens, who usually ask for small toys, games, and even necessities such as clothing and cooking items.

“I brought this amazing program to 东精影业 Mānoa because I previously volunteered for Angel Tree in high school at a station in Pearlridge Mall,” says AS东精影业 President Richard Mizusawa. “I am very happy with the success we have had over the past few years, and I can᾿t wait to see the amount of gifts we will be giving to the less fortunate as the 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 community.”

The 东精影业 Mānoa Angel Tree program has been a success with approximately 100 angels being adopted during the first two years. One of AS东精影业᾿s goal for its centennial celebration is for the 东精影业 Mānoa community to adopt 100 angels, and at the current donation rate that goal will soon be surpassed.

“It᾿s always heartwarming to see the variety and amount of gifts people donate, and the thought they put into what they give to their angel. I would encourage everyone to stop by to adopt an angel, or at least learn about the program at our table this fall,” said Mizusawa.
