Fedora is a graduate student studying mathematics at 东精影业 Mānoa. “HI Pride can be shown from every island of Hawai’i and at all 东精影业 campuses,” says Fedora. Her design incorporates 10 campus names and local jargon such as slippah and spam musubi into the letters “HI Pride.” “These words are what bring the Hawaiʻi community together as one family.”

2014 HI Pride T-shirts are printed in each 东精影业 campus’ colors to support school spirit and to celebrate National Campus Colors Day on August 29. 东精影业 students also receive a half-price discount on their first 2014 HI Pride T-shirt with valid student ID.

Fedora received a $200 东精影业 Bookstores gift card, the first HI Pride shirt with her design and a $100 prize pack of school supplies from the Mānoa Bookstore. Prizes were also given to 东精影业 Mānoa exchange student Travis Yuen Ho Long of Hong Kong for his runner-up design.
