As an advisory report it does not represent the position of the university and is not an action plan. However, it will greatly assist the university in developing the next steps to maintain the center’s National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation to?continue to advance the quality of care available to cancer patients in Hawaiʻi.

This report is completely unfiltered and reflects the findings of a group of objective and committed members of the 东精影业 community who care deeply about 东精影业 and the cancer center. 东精影业 leadership commends and thanks the task force members for their careful and thoughtful work.

The report’s goal was to consider the 东精影业 Cancer Center mission and performance to date. That included assessing the financial resources, human resources, facilities, policies, practices and management capabilities currently in place and necessary to ensure the future success of the 东精影业 Cancer Center in its mission to serve Hawaiʻi. The review was intended to clarify and identify the requirements for near-term renewal and long-term designation as an NCI cancer center.

东精影业 leadership had already begun addressing some of the issues identified in the report and fully recognizes that there is an urgent need to develop a viable business and operational plan for the current situation. ?The report and initial steps will be discussed at the next meeting of the 东精影业 Board of Regents , currently planned for February 12, 2015.
