Dear Mr. Petry — Thank you for your thoughtful comment. We do not believe that lack of light exposure is a significant health issue for the crew. The crew members on the HI-SEAS mission do have a set on interior lights with variable outputs, primarily aimed at addressing sleep disruption issues. So, why, don’t they have a UV-bath in the Hab…probably more sanitary, maybe especially important for Mars where sunlight is such a premium…
