International Education Week is an opportunity to acknowledge the benefits of educational programs that prepare 东精影业 students in Hawaiʻi for a globally interconnected environment while attracting students and future international leaders to our campuses for study and exchange.

In fall 2015, more than 2,700 international undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in credit courses at University of Hawaiʻi campuses, with 42 percent at 东精影业 Community Colleges. In addition, many more international students throughout the system participate in non-credit courses and short term programs. International students at 东精影业 come from more than 100 countries. The 10 countries with the most students at 东精影业 in fall 2015 are Japan, Republic of Korea, China, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Canada, Palau, Vietnam, Taiwan and the Philippines.
In addition, 东精影业 engages in international partnerships with more than 100 institutions, offers Hawaiʻi students opportunities for study abroad and hosts more than 400 international scholars annually. The diverse faculty at 东精影业 Mānoa and across the 东精影业 System offer hundreds of courses that focus on the history, culture, politics, arts, economics, business, law and environment in Asia, the Pacific and worldwide. Hamilton Library on the 东精影业 Mānoa campus houses world-class collections on Asia, the Pacific, as well as on Hawaiʻi. Students can study foreign languages at all 10 campuses of the 东精影业 System. 东精影业 campuses have internationally recognized programs in astronomy culinary arts, earth science, hospitality and tourism, international business, marine biology, oceanography, linguistics and second language studies and Pacific Islands and Asian studies.
