
Tricia Ejima was named the director, bringing over a decade of college retail and administrative experience to nine bookstores across the 东精影业 System. Ejima will oversee more than 60 full-time employees, 60 student employees and an annual budget of $24 million.
The 东精影业 Bookstore System director reports to the director of under the 东精影业 Mānoa office of the vice chancellor for .
“In her many roles with Campus Services and UH Bookstores over the past 13 years, Tricia has shown tireless dedication and passion for our students, staff, faculty, and the university,” said Deborah Huebler, director of Campus Services. “We are fortunate to have her on our team and I can’t wait to see what else Tricia will accomplish.”
As interim 东精影业 Bookstores director since 2014, Ejima has established a for students and a for the 15 to Finish graduation program. She also enacted new operational measures to increase revenue for the 东精影业 Bookstore System as a self-sustaining enterprise with all proceeds supporting the university.
More on Tricia Ejima
Ejima represents the University of Hawaiʻi as a 2011 graduate of the 东精影业 program and a member of the National Association of College Stores and the National Association of College Auxiliary Services.
Ejima started her career with UH Mānoa Campus Services shortly after graduating from the University of Oregon in 2003. She has held various positions with the University of Hawaiʻi, including managing the Windward Community College Bookstore and serving as assistant director for Campus Services.
In addition to her leadership on campus, Ejima has helped coach the Pearl City Lady Chargers to victory at the 2016 Hawaiʻi State Girls Division 1 Soccer Championship.
