So you made the precursors for something that might be “jumpstart”ed through evolution to living organisms. Hooray! But, as the study authors admit, cosmic rays also destroy DNA. So: Pray tell, how does the all-intelligent “evolution” deity get around that? And at just 5º Kelvin, where Brownian motion is basically at a standstill?

The incredible complexity of just one cellular organism is a non sequitur from the fact that you managed to artificially force the synthesis of “bio-friendly” compounds from CO2 and methane in a multiharzardous, hostile environment.

Isn’t it incredible that our basic assumptions lead us to defy common sense? And my tax dollars paid for this?!
