The astronomical work is laudable, the exoplanetary discoveries laudable, but the focus is lopsided: Earth is only our current, familiar planet, but on both sides of the “Goldilocks Zone” are two very important zones of interest: Mars-like planets with large initial atmospheres, and Venus-like planets, when their sun-stars are younger… we need the information on both, all three, the full zone edge-to-edge and hanging over the sidelines to be sure… (higher eccentricity orbits and planet-pairs that might oscillate or be part-year livable)…
