The at the celebrated the grand opening of the (PACE) newly renovated co-working room for the 东精影业 community.
The new room, called sPACE, offers a vibrant working space for all 东精影业 System students and faculty who want to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. The two-story room includes four themed corners, a main area for meetings, high-speed internet access and office spaces for program personnel. Together with modern decor and modular furniture, sPACE is uniquely designed to inspire collaboration, creativity and innovation.
“We wanted to welcome students, faculty and the business community to sPACE this week,” said PACE Executive Director . “Each day this week we have hosted different collaborative and creative programs with students, faculty, 东精影业 staff and business professionals. sPACE has risen to the occasion by accommodating each event with the flexibility for which it was designed.”
According to Yamada, the outpouring of support from individuals, 东精影业, foundations and companies throughout Hawaiʻi has ensured that PACE will continue to provide high quality entrepreneurial education to 东精影业 students.
PACE received nearly $3 million in donations to renovate the center and to develop new entrepreneurial programs and curriculum for students, train key faculty on current entrepreneurial instruction, support the commercialization of 东精影业 technology and innovation and establish UH as a leader in entrepreneurial education.
