The search has officially begun for the next dean of the University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 .

The College of Engineering is the state’s primary provider of education and training in critically-needed engineering disciplines. The new dean will be expected to lead the faculty and staff in working closely with state and federal stakeholders, including the science, technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) education community, to achieve significant growth in the education, research and service activities of the college.

Brian Taylor, dean of the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology, will chair the search advisory committee, whose members include chairs, faculty, staff and students from several 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 units, as well as representatives from the Kualiʻi Council, alumni and the 东精影业 community.

The committee will recommend finalists to Interim Vice Chancellor Michael Bruno, who then will recommend a nominee to 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 Interim Chancellor David Lassner.
