The is kicking off the school year with a new student-designed 2018 Hawaiʻi (HI) Pride T-shirt.
This year’s winning design comes from 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 student Akira Vernon from Honolulu. Vernon received 565 votes for his T-shirt design that represents what Hawaiʻi means to him—a tropical place where he grew up and that he loves. His design features a monstera leaf pattern inside the HI Pride.
The annual HI Pride T-Shirt design contest is held each spring and is open to all 东精影业 students. Semi-finalist designs are put online for the public to vote on.
The 2018 HI Pride T-shirts will be available for purchase in all 东精影业 Bookstores on August 13. The T-shirts will be available in black and all 东精影业 System campus colors.
Students with a valid 东精影业 ID are eligible for a discount on the first T-shirt they purchase. Reusable bags featuring this year’s design will also be available.
