President and CEO of American Savings Bank has been elected chair of the . Wacker joined the board in 2011 and most recently served as vice chair.
Active in the community, Wacker has served in leadership positions on the boards of prominent organizations including the Hawaiʻi Business Roundtable, Child and Family Service, Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, Hawaiʻi Bankers Association and 东精影业’s Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship and XLR8东精影业 accelerator program.
Prior to joining American Savings Bank, he was chairman of Korea Exchange Bank, the fifth largest Korean commercial bank. Wacker joined Korea Exchange Bank in 2004 as chief operating officer, was appointed president and CEO in 2005, and added the position of chairman of the board from 2007.
