The fellowship with exceptional merit is worth $15,000, with an additional $10,000 available to relieve student loan debt. It supports actors who are established in their careers with 10 years or more of professional experience.

Goods, who began his theatre artistry career at 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 in 1998, will use the fellowship grant to support the creation of a new theatrical piece, Two Ships, with the Honolulu Theatre for Youth. Goods will explore his Black and Polynesian cultural lineages, historical contexts and the Black experience in Hawaiʻi.

The Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowship advances an actor’s artistic and professional development, deepens their relationship with a not-for-profit theatre and places actors as a connection between theatres and communities.
