The at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa has launched a new video series, .

It gives viewers a glimpse into what the Hawaiian language department does to preserve and perpetuate Hawaiʻi’s mother tongue through everything from hula to connecting with mānaleo (native speakers) on-campus.

“I am ecstatic that the faculty and staff of Kawaihuelani are part of the process of normalizing ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi within the 东精影业 System and our community,” said Kumu Keawe Lopes, director of Kawaihuelani Center for Hawaiian Language.

The series will feature a total of five videos every Wednesday at noon through August 26 on and Instagram accounts.
