The University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 and basketball teams had strong games against California Polytechnic State University on February 4. The Rainbow Wahine cruised to a 80-58 win at home while the Rainbow Warriors claimed a 69-56 road win in San Luis Obispo, California.

东精影业’s 80-58 score was its highest point total of the season and also the most scored in a game since the 2020–21 season. The Rainbow Wahine shot a blazing 55% and buried nine three-pointers. The team also accumulated a total of 22 assists—its most in nearly six years.
Kallin Spiller led all scorers with 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting and a season-high seven rebounds. Four other players tallied double digits including Meilani McBee (13), Daejah Phillips (12), McKenna Haire (11) and Lily Wahinekapu (10).

The Rainbow Warriors’ final score of 69-56 marked the team’s sixth straight win over Cal Poly. With this win, 东精影业 moved into a tie for No. 3 in the Big West standings.
Kamaka Hepa finished just one point shy of a career-high scoring game, going 7-of-11 from the floor, 4-of-6 on three-pointers and 11-of-12 from the free throw line. He also added a team-high six rebounds. Samuta Avea also contributed with 18 points, while JoVon McClanahan added nine points and a season-high six assists.
