University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 utility Agatha Weston was named Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week following a strong weekend at the Fresno State Polopalooza.
Weston earned her first career weekly honor after scoring seven goals with a .368 shooting percentage and contributing a team-high eight steals and two field blocks to help the Rainbow Wahine post a 2–1 mark in the tournament.
Weston opened the weekend with a hat trick on .600 shooting, along with three steals and two field blocks in a win over No. 12 San Jose State. She then set a career-high with four goals against No. 5 Cal and closed the weekend by setting another career best with four steals in a win over No. 15 Michigan.
The ?Bows will resume action at the Triton Invitational from January 30 to February 1, at the Canyonview Aquatic Center in La Jolla, California.
