Students, faculty, staff and administrators at the University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 are encouraged to provide feedback on the three finalists for the 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 chancellor position. Feedback links are available on the and will be accepted through Friday, May 8.
Videos of each candidate’s campus forum—where finalists presented their vision for 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 and participated in a question-and-answer session—are also available on the website for reference.
The finalists are (in order of their campus visit):
- , interim provost at 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补
- , provost and vice president of academic affairs at San Francisco State University
- , president of National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan)
Each finalist visited the 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 campus, participated in a public forum and met with campus stakeholders and constituent groups.
Search launch, role responsibilities
A national search was launched in February to select the next 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 chancellor. Currently, the 东精影业 president holds 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 chancellor responsibilities, while academic affairs, research, enrollment management and student affairs are led by the 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 provost.
Separating these roles and recreating the 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 chancellor position was discussed by the Board of Regents during the 2024 东精影业 presidential search. 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 is the only 东精影业 campus without a dedicated chancellor.
The goal is to appoint the next 东精影业 惭ā苍辞补 chancellor with a start date as early as July 2026. More information about the search is .
