Record donation of $3.5M made to 东精影业惭ā苍辞补 music department

The donation will fund the music department’s first-ever endowed chair.

The Innovation and Impact Showcase celebrates 东精影业 Mānoa faculty members’ innovative and high-impact teaching practices.

Written and directed by 东精影业 Mānoa alumnus Ākea Kahikina, Hoʻoilina explores real-time issues such as what it takes to be considered Hawaiian.

The group visited Lahainaluna High School, Baldwin High School and Maui Waena Middle School.

Craig Santos Perez’ book was one of 10 finalists in the running for the 2023 National Book Award for Poetry.

The program offers a series of select excursions to various sites around Oʻahu or on campus each month of the academic year.

The award-winning Hawaiian Theatre program brought in guest artists from Aotearoa (New Zealand) to help students compose songs.

Nippon Culture Day features educational workshops to spotlight a diverse selection of traditional and contemporary elements of Japanese culture.
