According to a poll of 东精影业 Professional Assembly, boosting research is crucial to maintaining 东精影业's prestigious R1 status.
An announcement will be made when the meeting is scheduled.
The regents will vote to approve up to 12 candidates for the Presidential Search Advisory Group at a February 16 special presidential search BOR meeting.
The BOR determined how the stakeholder advisory group for the search for the next president of the 10-campus system will be developed.
The BOR is currently in the process of hiring, by January 31, an executive search company.
The new president would begin in fall 2024, replacing current President David Lassner, who announced that he will retire in 2024.

The Board of Regents has set the meeting to select the next university president for June 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Information Technology Center on the 东精影业 Mānoa campus.
