Rainbow Warriors beat Penn State in semis, advance to NCAA title match

The Rainbow Warriors play UCLA in the title match on May 6.

This is the team’s third conference tournament title and NCAA team appearance.

Hyeonji Kang and Mayumi Umezu were selected to the 2023 Big West All-Conference first and second teams, respectively.

东精影业 Hilo men’s golfer Junsu Im and women’s tennis player McKenna Mountain were named KTA Super Stores Superstars of the Week, April 5–18.

Randy Abshier is the only Big West pitcher to throw a shutout this year.

The 2022–23 H Awards were held on April 17 at the Les Murakami Stadium.

The Rainbow Warriors now head to the NCAA Tournament in Fairfax, Virginia on their quest for a third straight national championship.
