Morton was appointed by Gov. David Ige and will occupy the seat previously held by Carol Mon Lee.
In partnership with Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education student access programs, 东精影业 helped Hawaiʻi residents save $24.9 million in 2018–19 in interstate tuition, while benefiting from enrollment of students from other states.
According to a Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education report a total of 2,600 out-of-state students attended four 东精影业 campuses via a tuition-discount exchange program that grew significantly in 2017–18.
The university system is recognized for partnership with Hobsons, use of data analytics and digital tools to improve student success.
