Talaash: A Quest<\/em> will feature Bollywood dances performed by University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> ʻohana<\/span> and other professional dancers and musicians.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Bollywood Film Festival at Doris Duke Theatre<\/a> presents their fourth annual dance concert, Talaash—A Quest—into the Many Moods of Bollywood<\/em><\/a> produced and directed by Sai Bhatawadekar, Associate Professor and Director of South Asian Studies. The concert features popular Bollywood numbers, Indian folk and classical traditions and fusion pieces performed by professional dancers, University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa students and faculty, and community members. Talaash: A Quest will debut on January 12, at the Honolulu Museum of Art. <\/p>\n

The dance concert also gives an opportunity to 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Bollywood dance students and community to share their music collaborative choreographies. Sai Bhatawadekar<\/strong>, who teaches a Bollywood film and dance course at UH Manoa, will present her own choreographies and dances as well. The Bollywood film and dance course, which began as a free community class, combines film history as well as dance lessons and performances and helps students cultivate positive energy within themselves and others.<\/p>\n
