Performances will take place February 26&#8211;March 1 in the Earle Ernst Lab Theatre.<\/p>\n<p><em>Kaleidoscope<\/em> is a collection of eleven dances, among them a thesis work choreographed by master of fine arts in dance candidate <strong>Sophia Carter<\/strong>. The largest ensemble featured in the program with nine dancers including Carter, the work is a mesmerizing journey of the selves as they relate to the whole entity. Kaleidoscopic in its conceptual depiction, this piece inspired the theme of the production: <em>Kaleidoscope<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tavehi Tafiti<\/strong> and <strong>Marley Aiu<\/strong> have choreographed duets for the program. Tavehi will be dancing with <strong>L\u012bhau Ichinose<\/strong> in a modern piece influenced by Oceanic movement titled, &ldquo;Coming Home.&rdquo; Aiu shares the stage with <strong>Francis Camuso<\/strong> in the poetic contemporary piece, &ldquo;Inside the Exterior.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dulcinea Sabin<\/strong> presents hip-hop choreography performed by a quintet of dancers that explores the search for self. A kaleidoscope of diverse and imaginative solos round out the program.<\/p>\n<p>Unusual for the Footholds Dance Concerts, this program includes a work choreographed by John Landovsky, School of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> State Ballet founder.
