Despite disruptions to on-campus student life due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa Food Vault Hawaiʻi<\/span><\/a> remains open and accessible to students in need of food.<\/p>\n

A survey by Joannie Dobbs<\/strong>, assistant specialist in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition<\/a>, and her students, first raised the issue about student food insecurity on the 东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa campus with Associated Students of the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa<\/a> (AS东精影业<\/abbr>). As a result, AS东精影业<\/abbr>, Office of Student Life and Development<\/a>, Campus Center Board<\/a> and Student Activity and Program Fee Board<\/a> collaborated to create the three-year pilot program in 2019 to address food insecurity at 东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa.The Food Vault has offered monthly “food drops” that have given away more than 6,000 pounds of food in just one day.<\/p>\n

To maintain social distancing, distribution is now by appointment only. Fill out this form<\/a> to make an appointment for pick-up. Students should bring their 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa student ID and their own bag.<\/p>\n
