Two University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> Rainbow Wahine and two University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Hilo<\/a> Vulcan women\u2019s golfers were recognized on June 29 for their academic excellence by the Women\u2019s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n

Senior Malia Ebersberger<\/strong> (东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa), senior Keely Kitamura<\/strong> (东精影业<\/abbr> Hilo), sophomore Kaelyn Uchida<\/strong> (东精影业<\/abbr> Hilo) and junior Sahara Washington<\/strong> (东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa), were among 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers named to the All-American Scholar team<\/a>, which requires selections to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA<\/abbr> of 3.5.<\/p>\n

Ebersberger earned the distinction for the second consecutive year. Last season, Ebersberger and freshman Nicha Vorrasanpisut<\/strong> were the first to earn WGCA<\/abbr> honors since Nichole Cruz<\/strong> in 2016.<\/p>\n

Washington competed in all seven tournaments of the season and finished second on the team with a 76.1 scoring average with two Top 20 finishes.<\/p>\n

Keely Kitamura and Kaelyn Uchida<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kitamura played in three tournaments as a senior, earning her best round of 85 at the Concordia Invitational. She is also a four-time Pacific West Conference Scholar Athlete.<\/p>\n

Uchida achieved a record-breaking round during the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, scoring the lowest 东精影业<\/abbr> Hilo women\u2019s golf score of 70 on the par-70 course.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
