The Hawaiʻi<\/span> Cancer Consortium<\/a>, led by the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> Cancer Center<\/a>, welcomes Adventist Health Castle<\/a> as its newest member. <\/p>\n

As part of the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Cancer Consortium, Adventist Health Castle will support the 东精影业<\/abbr> Cancer Center in achieving its mission and enhancing its ability to make substantive advances in the areas of cancer research, education, community outreach and oncology practice.<\/p>\n

“We are extremely pleased that Adventist Health Castle has joined the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Cancer Consortium. This will improve access to high quality National Cancer Institute clinical trials for patients on the windward side of the island,” said 东精影业<\/abbr> Cancer Center Director Randall Holcombe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Adventist Health Castle, owned and operated by Adventist Health, is a full-service medical center located in Kailua, Oʻahu<\/span>, and offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and home-based services.<\/p>\n

“It is a privilege to partner with the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Cancer Consortium,” said Alan Cheung, vice president of medical affairs at Adventist Health Castle. “As a strong organization with similar goals, we are committed to increasing access to our windward community for generations to come. Working together, we can do much more than we ever could on our own.”<\/p>\n

Adventist Health Castle serves many of Oʻahu<\/span>\u2019s Native Hawaiian population. This partnership will not only provide access to the most current and cutting-edge cancer therapies for all residents on the windward side, but also expand cancer research participation opportunities for those who experience a high incidence and mortality of certain cancers, including Native Hawaiians.<\/p>\n

The consortium represents the unified basic, translational and clinical cancer research effort benefiting all citizens of Hawaiʻi<\/span> and the Pacific Rim. Other members of the consortium include the Hawaii Medical Service Association, Hawaiʻi<\/span> Pacific Health, Kuakini Medical Center, The Queen\u2019s Health Systems and 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s John A.
