University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa Athletics Department<\/a> is helping to fight hunger with a contactless, drive-thru food drive, in partnership with Hawaii Foodbank. The ‘Bows will be collecting food donations in the Stan Sheriff Center parking lot on October 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 东精影业<\/abbr> coaches and student-athletes will be on hand to say mahalo.<\/p>\n

Since Hawaiʻi<\/span>‘s first statewide stay at home, work from home order on March 25, demand for food assistance has increased by nearly 60%. Hawaiʻi<\/span> has the fifth highest increase in food insecurity in the United States. Community contributions will assist with meeting the nutritional needs of 1 in 6 Hawaiʻi<\/span> residents already struggling with hunger.<\/p>\n
