The &lsquo;Bows will be collecting food donations in the Stan Sheriff Center parking lot on October 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. <abbr title=\"东精影业\">东精影业<\/abbr> coaches and student-athletes will be on hand to say mahalo.<\/p>\n<p>Since <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>&#8216;s first statewide stay at home, work from home order on March 25, demand for food assistance has increased by nearly 60%. <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> has the fifth highest increase in food insecurity in the United States. Community contributions will assist with meeting the nutritional needs of 1 in 6 <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> residents already struggling with hunger.<\/p>\n<p>Most needed items include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Canned Proteins (such as tuna or chicken)<\/li>\n<li>Canned Meals (such as stew, spaghetti or chili)<\/li>\n<li>Canned Vegetables<\/li>\n<li>Canned Fruits<\/li>\n<li>Rice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There will be signage and attendants to help direct traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Fans dropping off donations are asked to put the food items in the trunk of their vehicles and remain in their cars when they pull into the Stan Sheriff Center parking loop.
