Four members of <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/nhpol\/language-option\/pathways\/auamo\/trht-truth-racial-healing-transformation\/\"><abbr title=\"东精影业\">东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s <abbr>TRHT<\/abbr> Campus Center<\/a> lead team will present on <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>-grounded approach to truth, racial healing and transformation. The Zoom webinar presentation is on Tuesday, January 19, 1&#8211;2 p.m. <a href=\"http:\/\/go.hawaii.edu\/JAK\">Register on this website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Presenters include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kaiwipuni Lipe<\/strong>, <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa <abbr>TRHT<\/abbr> Campus Center director and Native Hawaiian affairs program officer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sonya Zabala<\/strong>, Native Hawaiian Place of Learning Advancement Office operations coordinator<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monica Stitt-Bergh<\/strong>, Assessment and Curriculum Support Center specialist<\/li>\n<li><strong>Siobh\u00e1n N\u00ed Dhonacha<\/strong>, Honors Program faculty specialist and academic advisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the <abbr>TRHT<\/abbr> lead team has organized a &ldquo;<abbr>TRHT<\/abbr> Week of Focus&rdquo; to highlight significant events from January 17&#8211;20. Lipe said the week is packed with dates and events that are important to who we are as <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>. January 17 is the date that marks the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom; January 18 is Martin Luther King <abbr title=\"Junior\">Jr<\/abbr>. Day; January 19 is National Racial Healing Day; and January 20 is Inauguration Day.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Each of these dates can and do play significant roles in our reality here in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>. Let\u2019s learn about them, talk about them, and decide how we want to engage in them to create healthy and just futures for our keiki,&rdquo; Lipe said.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about other National Day of Racial Healing events and to access resources regarding the overthrow, Martin Luther King <abbr>Jr<\/abbr>.
