The center&#8217;s mission is to reduce the burden of cancer through research, education, patient care, clinical trials and community outreach with an emphasis on the unique ethnic, cultural and environmental characteristics of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> and the Pacific. The center is committed to work toward the development and utilization of new and unique innovative cancer control approaches for the health of the people of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> and the world. <\/p>\n<p>Jill Hoggard Green, president and <abbr>CEO<\/abbr> of Queen\u2019s Health Systems, and <strong>Lee Buenconsejo-Lum<\/strong>, associate dean for academic affairs at <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Manoa\u2019s John A. Burns School of Medicine, are co-chairing the search advisory committee.
