The college is kicking off its 50th anniversary year with two events.<\/p>\n<h2>Windward, Wine &#38; Wow!<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/windward-50-anniversary-event-2-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"circle with 50 years and Windward Wine and Wow!\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-164570\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/windward-50-anniversary-event-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/windward-50-anniversary-event-2-130x73.jpg 130w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/windward-50-anniversary-event-2.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, October 1, Windward <abbr>CC<\/abbr> will host Windward, Wine &#038; Wow!, 5&#038;@8211;7 p.m. The open-tent event, featuring gourmet p\u016bp\u016b, wine tasting, art and entertainment, will take place in the Palik\u016b Theatre courtyard and Gallery <span aria-label=\"Iolani\">&#699;Iolani<\/span>. Highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gallery <span aria-label=\"Iolani\">&#699;Iolani<\/span> opening preview of <em>Wow! &#38; Then: Art over the decades by <abbr title=\"Windward Community College\">WCC<\/abbr> faculty<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Gourmet heavy p\u016bp\u016b by Chef Daniel Swift<\/li>\n<li>Wine tasting and mocktails<\/li>\n<li>Musical entertainment by Kamakakehau Fernandez<\/li>\n<li>Art studio tours by student\/alumni representatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The public is invited.
