Manicures for $11, pedicures for $17.50 and shampoo and haircuts for $9.50 are available at Honolulu Community College\u2019s<\/a> on-campus cosmetology salon.<\/p>\n

The public is invited to book appointments for an array of services, including hair, mani\/pedi and facials. Working under the supervision of experienced Honolulu CC<\/abbr> instructors, cosmetology students apply their skill and talent to provide high-quality services at affordable prices; all conveniently housed on the first floor of Honolulu CC<\/abbr>\u2019s Building 27 at 874 Dillingham Boulevard in Honolulu.<\/p>\n

After closing during the first statewide lockdown due to COVID-19 in March 2020, the Honolulu CC<\/abbr> cosmetology salon tentatively opened with limited services in spring 2021. However, this is the first semester they will be fully open with a lengthy list of services.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to welcome the public back into our salon,” said Cosmetology Instructor Mahina Hong<\/strong>. “Our students gain valuable, practical experience while also polishing soft skills before entering the field.”<\/p>\n
