This is the very first professional development series Nā Pua Noʻeau<\/span> offered to the community.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In an effort to empower and guide Native Hawaiian ʻohana<\/span> and keiki towards a pathway to higher education, the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa enrichment program, Nā Pua Noʻeau<\/span> <\/a>(NPN<\/abbr>) launched a new professional development workshop series. Through August and September, NPN<\/abbr> 东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa, part of the campus\u2019 Hawaiʻinuiākea<\/span> School of Hawaiian Knowledge<\/a> and Native Hawaiian Student Services<\/a>, conducted seven Hoʻokumu<\/span> Noʻeau<\/span> professional development workshops on Oʻahu<\/span> and Hawaiʻi<\/span> Island reaching a total of 86 professionals including educators, social workers, administrators and coordinators from across the state.<\/p>\n

“Hoʻokumu<\/span> Noʻeau<\/span> was born with impeccable timing due to feedback and requests from the community to learn how some of Nā Pua Noʻeau<\/span>‘s best practices can be implemented with students,” said Kinohi Gomes<\/strong>, NPN<\/abbr> 东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa program director.<\/p>\n
