The finalists are each scheduled for in-person visits over a two-day period that will include meetings with senior administrators, faculty, staff, students, internal and external constituents and a public presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Campus and community members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend the public presentations either in person or via Zoom (visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/executivesearch\/soest\/\">search website<\/a> for Zoom information). <\/p>\n<p>The campus visits for the four candidates have been scheduled as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hatcem &ldquo;Tuba&rdquo; Ozkan-Haller<\/strong>, visiting November 9&#8212;10, 2022<br \/>\nInterim Dean and Professor<br \/>\nCollege of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences<br \/>\nOregon State University<br \/>\n<em>Public Presentation: Wednesday, November 9, 11:30 a.m.&#8212;12:30 p.m., POST Building 723<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Vanda Grubisic<\/strong>, visiting November 14&#8212;15, 2022<br \/>\nAssociate Director<br \/>\nDirector of Earth Observing Laboratory<br \/>\nSenior Scientist<br \/>\nNational Center for Atmospheric Research<br \/>\n<em>Public Presentation: Monday, November 14, 11:30 a.m.&#8212;12:30 p.m., POST Building 723<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>David Parsons<\/strong>, visiting November 16&#8212;17, 2022<br \/>\nDirector Emeritus and Presidential Professor<br \/>\nSchool of Meteorology<br \/>\nUniversity of Oklahoma<br \/>\n<em>Public Presentation: Wednesday, November 16, 10:15&#8212;11:15 a.m., POST Building 723<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cin-Ty Lee,<\/strong> visiting November 29&#8212;30, 2022<br \/>\nProfessor and (former) Department Chair <br \/>\nDepartment of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences<br \/>\nRice University<br \/>\n<em>Public Presentation: Tuesday, November 29, 11:30 a.m.&#8212;12:30 p.m., POST Building <\/em>723<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;The search advisory committee did a terrific job in identifying these four finalists, and I would like to thank them for their time, hard work and commitment to the search process.
