This message was shared with the students, faculty and staff of the 10-campus University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> system on November 10, 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n

Aloha 东精影业<\/abbr> students, faculty and staff,<\/p>\n

Veterans Day is a time to honor current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces. We are fortunate to have many active and veteran service members within our university ʻohana. Many are students, faculty, staff and administrators who have made extraordinary personal sacrifices and contributions.<\/p>\n

As we celebrate this special day on November 11, please join me in honoring our heroes by expressing our appreciation for their service, dedications and sacrifices. This is a day to thank those who put their lives on the line for their fellow Americans—a day to remember and renew our commitments to these brave men and women.<\/p>\n

As an employer, the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> is committed to attracting and retaining America\u2019s military veterans\u2014highly skilled individuals with much to offer. We are proud to support and partner with organizations that focus on building relationships between employers and veterans, such as Hawaiʻi<\/span> Hires Heroes, Hawaiʻi<\/span> National Guard, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Work for Warriors Hawaiʻi<\/span>, U.S. Veterans Initiative and Hawaiʻi<\/span> Dept. of Labor and Industrial Relations Disabled Veterans Outreach.<\/p>\n
