University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa women\u2019s track and field<\/a> student-athletes Alyssa Mae Antolin<\/strong> and Montserrat Montanes i Arbo<\/strong> were named Big West Track Athlete of the Week and Field Athlete of the Week, respectively, following their performances at the Cardinal Classic on March 18 in Sacramento, California.<\/p>\n

Antolin placed fourth in the 100m (11.88) and fifth in the 200m (24.06). Both of her times ranked in the top six all-time at 东精影业<\/abbr>. She currently ranks No. 1 in the Big West in the 200m and No. 5 in the 100m. In the 4×400 relay, Antolin ran the fastest leg to help the Rainbow Wahine to a time of 3:49.24, which ranks first in the Big West.<\/p>\n

Montanes i Arbo started off the outdoor season in a powerful way. She won the hammer throw with a distance of 57.36m, placing her at No. 1 in the conference by a length of four meters. While sitting atop the Big West, she is ranked 17th in the West Region and climbing.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Wahine will return to action at the Mike Fanelli Classic in San Francisco, California, March 30–April 1.<\/p>\n
