The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> is one of the prettiest colleges in the nation<\/a>, according to a new ranking by Architectural Digest<\/em> in April 2024. 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa was the first institution named on the list of 64 schools selected out of nearly 3,900 nationally. The list noted 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s “many beautiful buildings” and the view of L\u0113ʻahi<\/span> (Diamond Head). 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa also topped the list in 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa buildings were designed by world-renowned architects Ieoh Ming (IM<\/abbr>) Pei<\/a> and Vladimir Ossipoff. Pei\u2019s legacy includes his iconic designs of Kennedy Theatre and Jefferson Hall. Ossipoff designed Bachman Hall.<\/p>\n

Over the past few years, the campus celebrated the opening of the Isabella Aiona Abbott Life Sciences Building<\/a> and the Walter Dods Jr<\/abbr>., RISE<\/abbr> Center<\/a>. And 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa will welcome a revamped Student Success Center<\/a> and the Residences for Graduate Students<\/a>, both expected in 2025.<\/p>\n

There are more than 140 buildings on the 320-acre campus, which also features more than 4,000 trees and more than 500 tree species. The 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa campus is one of nearly 700 ArbNet accredited arboretums worldwide<\/a> and joins the 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Lyon Arboretum<\/a> in the back of M\u0101noa valley as two of six in Hawaiʻi<\/span>.<\/p>\n
