The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa football team<\/a> started fast and finished strong in a dominant 36-7 win over Northern Iowa on September 21 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Warriors scored the first three touchdowns of the game on their first three drives, then finished off the Panthers by scoring the final two touchdowns of the night.<\/p>\n

Quarterback Brayden Schager matched a career-high with four touchdown passes and completed 35-of-43 passes for 374 yards with two interceptions.<\/p>\n

Wide receiver Nick Cenacle finished with a career-best two touchdown receptions, going for 63 yards on a career-high nine catches. Wide receiver Pofele Ashlock caught Schager’s first touchdown pass along with 74 yards on 10 receptions, while wide receiver Jonah Panoke caught the other with 60 yards on four catches. Dekel Crowdus caught three passes for a career-best 83 yards.<\/p>\n

The 东精影业<\/abbr> rushing attack also stepped up, combining for 149 yards against Northern Iowa. Landon Sims scored the first rushing touchdown by a 东精影业<\/abbr> running back this season.<\/p>\n

“Anytime you win, it\u2019s a good thing,” 东精影业<\/abbr> Head Coach Timmy Chang said. “I thought this game was won in the trenches, especially with a team that dominates time of possession as they do, and looking back at it, we won the time of possession and executed on both sides of the ball.”<\/p>\n

With the win, the Rainbow Warriors improve to 2-2 on the season. 东精影业<\/abbr>\u2019s next game is on October 5 at San Diego State. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Hawaiʻi<\/span> time.<\/p>\n
