This collaboration will integrate Queen\u2019s oncology services into the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Cancer Center\u2019s research facilities, providing comprehensive cancer care and early-phase clinical trials under one roof. It will also mark the first time the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> offers on-campus clinical services for cancer patients.<\/p>\n<p>Queen\u2019s will lease space on the third and fourth floors of the center\u2019s <span aria-label=\"ewa\">&#699;ewa<\/span> wing, offering medical oncology, surgical oncology, and chemotherapy infusion services. Meanwhile, <span aria-label=\"Hoola\">Ho&#699;&#333;la<\/span>, <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>\u2019s first early-phase clinical research center for cancer, is under construction on the first and second floors and is set to open by year\u2019s end. A collaborative effort with the Hawai\u2018i Cancer Consortium, <span aria-label=\"Hoola\">Ho&#699;&#333;la<\/span> will allow local cancer patients to access cutting-edge treatments without traveling to the mainland.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;As a member of the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Cancer Consortium, The Queen\u2019s Health Systems has always been one of the state\u2019s most powerful allies in the fight against cancer,&rdquo; said Naoto T. Ueno, director of the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Cancer Center. This agreement builds on our mutually beneficial collaboration as we continue to save lives. It ensures patients in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> and the <abbr>U.S.<\/abbr>-Affiliated Pacific Islands can benefit from cancer research that yields better preventive care, earlier detection, and improved treatment options.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<h2>National recognition<\/h2>\n<p>In September 2024, the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Cancer Center renewed its National Cancer Institute designation, maintaining its place among the nation\u2019s top 4&#37; of cancer centers.
