This week\u2019s 东精影业<\/abbr> News<\/em> Image of the Week is from University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Hilo’s Saxony Charlot.<\/p>\n

Charlot shared, “My ecology professor, Dr. Becky Ostertag, encouraged me to submit my art to the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Nei Art Exhibition. I had never submitted my art to any contest or exhibit before, but was inspired to enter this piece and another—and they were both accepted! This one is the extinct Hawaiʻi<\/span> mamo with a critically endangered ʻoha wai. ”<\/p>\n
