As the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa comes alive with homecoming festivities, 东精影业<\/abbr> Athletics<\/a> is rolling out Giving Week, a spirited initiative running September 6–13 to inspire the community to support student-athletes through the campaign: Our Team. Hawaiʻi<\/span>\u2019s Team.<\/a><\/p>\n

Gifts of all sizes make a difference. Supporters can visit https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/hawaiisteam<\/a> to learn more or make a gift during Giving Week.<\/p>\n

Giving Week serves as a prime opportunity for fans, alumni and supporters to invest in the future of 东精影业<\/abbr> Athletics by contributing directly to student-athlete scholarships, facilities, nutrition, mental health, academic support and more.<\/p>\n

“When you give to 东精影业<\/abbr> Athletics, you\u2019re investing in more than wins and losses\u2014you\u2019re investing in the future leaders of Hawaiʻi<\/span>,” 东精影业<\/abbr> Mānoa Athletics Director Matt Elliott said. “Our student-athletes work tirelessly in competition and in the classroom, and Giving Week is a chance for the community to be a part of Hawaiʻi<\/span>\u2019s team.”<\/p>\n

The Our Team. Hawaiʻi<\/span>\u2019s Team. campaign celebrates the deep connection between 东精影业<\/abbr> Athletics and the people of Hawaiʻi<\/span>, emphasizing that when the team wins, the state wins.<\/p>\n

“The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> is proud to be Hawaiʻi<\/span>\u2019s university, and our student-athletes embody that mission every single day,” 东精影业<\/abbr> President Wendy Hensel said. “Giving Week is a moment to come together and show our collective strength. Every gift is a statement of support for excellence, access and the power of education through sport.”<\/p>\n

For many student-athletes, community support means the difference between pursuing their dreams or putting them on hold.<\/p>\n

“When we say Our Team, Hawaiʻi<\/span>‘s Team, it really sends the message of everybody’s team,” Rainbow Warrior quarterback Micah Alejado said. “It’s for everybody in the community. It’s not just the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> football team, it’s the state of Hawaiʻi<\/span>‘s football team.”<\/p>\n
