Coordination and additional service was provided by the Kahului Salvation Army, which co-sponsors the annual event.<\/p>\n<p>The menu included sous vide turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, taro and Portuguese sausage stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, candied Okinawan sweet potatoes, Mediterranean tomato salad, and pecan pumpkin crunch.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/maui-culinary-salvation-army-4-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Culinary volunteers\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-226111\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/maui-culinary-salvation-army-4-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/maui-culinary-salvation-army-4-130x73.jpg 130w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/maui-culinary-salvation-army-4.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>&ldquo;We are so proud to have hosted the Salvation Army Luncheon here in our <span lang=\"haw\">P\u0101&#699;ina<\/span> Building for the ninth time,&rdquo; said Chef Instructor Craig Omori. &ldquo;This event is a cornerstone of our community support, providing us with the opportunity to serve so many meals to our Maui neighbors, many of whom are food and housing insecure.
