University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa swimmers Tim Brown and Quincy Key both earned their first Big West Athlete of the Week awards on December 30 after strong performances at the \u02bbBows dual meet against Utah in Salt Lake City.<\/p>\n

Brown won gold in the 50 freestyle, hitting the wall with an impressive time of 20.76. The senior also helped the Rainbow Warriors clinch silver in both the 200 medley and the 200 free relay. Brown anchored the 200 medley with a 20.09 split and swam the second leg of the 200 free relay in a split time of 19.87, recording the fastest split of the competition in both relays.<\/p>\n

Key helped to lead the Rainbow Wahine to a pair of relay victories while finishing third in the 50 free with a time of 23.82 against the Utes. Key swam the fastest split of the meet with a time of 22.93 as she anchored the 200 medley relay, and swam the second leg of the 200 free relay with a split of 23.21.<\/p>\n

The 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa swimming and diving teams wrap up their home schedule with a pair of dual meets at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex. The \u2018Bows will take on BYU<\/abbr> on January 3 and then will host Pacific Lutheran on 东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa’s senior night on January 5.<\/p>\n
