He finished fifth nationally in strikeout-to-walk ratio, while also ranking among the top 30 in <abbr title=\"earned run average\">ERA<\/abbr> (2.70), saves and walks allowed per nine innings.<\/p>\n<p>Magdaleno appeared in 24 games, all in relief, posting a 4-1 record with nine saves.
