As previously announced, David Karl, the director of the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Daniel K. Wo &#38; Sons, Ltd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The search was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2026\/02\/25\/uh-launches-search-to-re-establish-uh-manoa-chancellor\/\">formally launched in February<\/a> following a December vote by the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Board of Regents to accept a Board permitted interaction group report and re-establish the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa chancellor position. The process includes an open nomination and application period, campus visits by finalists with open forums and stakeholder meetings scheduled for April 27&#8211;28, 2026, April 30&#8211;May 1, 2026, and May 4&#8212;5, 2026, and final recommendation to the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> president for consideration by the Board of Regents.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to appoint the next <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> M\u0101noa chancellor with a start date as early as July 2026.
