The training is flexible and is available to those who wish to make this work a career, or for anyone who needs more skills as a volunteer family caregiver.<\/p>\n<p>According to a recent report by the U.S. Department of Labor, the in-home caregiver vocation, which is also known as a personal care assistant or in-home assistant, is projected to be the second fastest growing occupation in the U.S. between now and 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who is interested in this training should attend a general information session at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kapiolani.hawaii.edu\/\"><span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr><\/a> at Kopiko Building, Room 242.
