The <a href=\"http:\/\/uhalumni.org\"><abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Alumni Association<\/a> brings them all together during a few road games each year.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our mission at the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Alumni Association is to connect alumni and friends and build pride in the university,&rdquo; said alumni president <strong>Ken Hayashida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Being able to rally around the team and getting the chapter together is real important for us,&rdquo; said <strong>Lance Tanaka<\/strong>, the president of the alumni association&#8217;s Colorado chapter. &ldquo;We are spread out in Colorado and something like this really brings us together and makes us feel like we belong with <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Many fans travel by themselves while others buy tours from <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> partners Panda Travel and World Wide Travel. And on every trip, fans make a point of taking in the local sites.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The weather has been great and we have been visiting a lot of places and now we are at the Coors brewery,&rdquo; said <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> football fan Leighton Wong during a daylong tour.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&#8217;s a beautiful, beautiful state,&rdquo; said fellow fan Gail Horita. &ldquo;And the highlight of our tour is this Coors tour. This is the last event of the day and it&#8217;s super.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p> &ldquo;It&#8217;s been fun,&rdquo; agreed Wong. &ldquo;Met a lot of new people on the tour and stuff so, we are just waiting for tomorrow and hopefully a win.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_27836\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27836\" style=\"width: 425px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/uhaa-colorado.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"250\" class=\"size-full wp-image-27836\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/uhaa-colorado.jpg 425w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/uhaa-colorado-260x152.jpg 260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-27836\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Alumni Association tailgate event at Denver.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On game day before kickoff, the alumni association, the association&#8217;s local chapter and <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> sponsors put on a tailgate event, Hawaiian style, with local food, music and entertainment, drawings and more.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A lot of aloha spirit and they had the dancers and musicians,&rdquo; said Richard Lum of Worldwide Travel. &ldquo;Everything turned out real good.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have been to four so far, in the past, but I think this is really the best that we have ever been at,&rdquo; said <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> fan Nora Toma. &ldquo;The outdoors, the venue, it was just beautiful.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To have a whole bunch of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> fans coming up, visiting us, makes us feel like we are in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> for a little bit,&rdquo; said Tanaka.<\/p>\n<p><abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> can never thank the traveling <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> fans enough. During his speech at the tailgate event, <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Athletic Director <strong>Ben Jay<\/strong> asked everyone to give the traveling fans a round of applause.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Some of them are headed to Vegas afterwards, too, but they are our truly loyal and dedicated fans,&rdquo; said Hayashida.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after every <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Alumni tailgate event, it&#8217;s game time, where the fans cheer on the <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> Rainbow Warriors.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think it is great,&rdquo; said Toma. &ldquo;I think we can just come together as <span aria-label=\"ohana\">&#699;ohana<\/span> and just celebrate the team because they need our support.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Every <abbr>东精影业<\/abbr> fan should make the effort to join the team on the road,&rdquo; agreed Horita. &ldquo;It is just remarkable.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Come out and meet your fellow alumni,&rdquo; encouraged Hayashida. &ldquo;Get together and have a good time.
