Whether celebrating a mom, grandma, mother-in-law, or any female on May 8, attending the show is a novel way to express appreciation for that special someone.

Earth, Moon and Sun is appropriate for audiences of all ages. The faced-paced 28-minute show explores the fundamentals of our Earth-Moon system with the help of Coyote, an amusing character adapted from Native American oral traditions, who has a razor sharp wit, however is a bit confused about what he sees in the sky. The show explores the wonders of lunar phases, sunrises and sunsets, eclipses, space travel to our Moon and other celestial puzzles. Native American stories are told throughout the show to help distinguish between myths and science.

Show information

Hōkūlani Imaginarium presents the Mother’s Day viewing of Earth, Moon and Sun on Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m. To make reservations, contact the imaginarium at (808) 235-7433 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Ticket prices:

$7 general admission

$6 Windward CC students, military, seniors 65+ with ID

$5 children (4-12 years of age)

Free for children less than 4 years of age and Windward CC faculty and staff with university ID

Reserved tickets must be picked up at the Imaginarium box office at least 15 minutes prior to start of program; unclaimed tickets are released for sale to walk-in customers on a first come, first served basis.

—A Hōkūlani Imaginarium news release

Hōkūlani Imaginarium at Windward Community College presents a special Mother’s Day matinee viewing of its fun-filled show Earth, Moon and Sun.

[26
296,71,66
post-45333","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","tag-hokulani-imaginarium","tag-uh-community-colleges","tag-windward-community-college","entry","has-media
["GET
