Viewers can grab the screen or use the dial in the upper left corner to look around and get a feeling of what the divers experience.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uhhmop.hawaii.edu\/quest\/\">Quantitative Underwater Ecological Surveying Techniques<\/a>, or QUEST, is a two week field course offered through the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> at Hilo&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uhhmop.hawaii.edu\/\">Marine Option Program<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/hilo-quest-360.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/hilo-quest-360-260x146.jpg\" alt=\"Divers gathering data on coral\" width=\"260\" height=\"146\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-60888\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/hilo-quest-360-260x146.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/hilo-quest-360.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The course results in up to 24 undergraduates being trained in underwater data collection methods routinely used by <abbr title=\"东精影业\">东精影业<\/abbr> scientists, and those of state, federal and <abbr title=\"non governmental organization\">NGO<\/abbr> partner agencies (<abbr title=\"National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration\">NOAA<\/abbr>&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmfs.noaa.gov\/\"><abbr title=\"National Marine Fisheries Service\">NMFS<\/abbr><\/a> and <abbr title=\"Papahanaumokuakea National Monument\">PMNM<\/abbr>, <a href=\"http:\/\/dlnr.hawaii.gov\/dar\/\"><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> <abbr title=\"Division of Aquatic Resources\">DAR<\/abbr><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fws.gov\/\"><abbr title=\"U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service\">USFWS<\/abbr><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/index.htm\"><abbr title=\"National Park Service\">NPS<\/abbr><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.org\/ourinitiatives\/regions\/northamerica\/unitedstates\/hawaii\/index.htm\"><abbr title=\"The Nature Conservancy Hawaii\">TNC-H<\/abbr><\/a>.
